a neat idea, but the inconsistent lighting between guys sort of distracts me, I wish they also had a little bit of back light to make the pop out of the background more

I disagree, the inconsistency in the lighting brings the eye to the foreground where the main subject is, It adds depth and character to the photograph. I could be wrong, but that is what I think. This is voted a HIT from me.
