Spirit of Fort lauderdale

Bubier Park is a green oasis in downtown Fort Lauderdale that features a few picnic tables, a band shell and an interactive fountain. Located along the Riverwalk and across the street from the Museum of Art and the Las Olas Riverfront entertainment complex, it is the site of many festivals and special events.
Its most unusual feature is the H. Wayne Huizenga Spirit of Fort Lauderdale Fountain at Las Olas Boulevard and Andrews Avenue. Friends of Huizenga paid for its $800,000 construction.

The fountain is the second in the world to employ patented interactive technology. As the fountain plays recorded music, hydraulic pumps, lights and water jets translate the musical impulses into a synchronous display of music and water.

Visitors to the fountain can wave their hands over sensors and control how high and frequently the water spurts.

You got a Nikon? I saw you asking DSLR questions, but I didn't know you bought one.

Ooooooo. Now I have even more to look forward to when I get back to your 365 tomorrow night!

Thanks M! I want to go back and re-take it from a couple of different angles, and use a tripod to get it a bit sharper. I love the colors too. =)
