Pulao

Captured with Rolleinar-MC 55mm f1.4 wide open @f1.4 Rollei mount lens mounted on Canon DSLR Rebel XT/350D camera.

Was getting bored at home (was chilled cold outside). Captured few shots of lunch preparation.

My wife, Seema, was preparing Pulao.
Pulao: (a.k.a. Pilaf, Pulav) Refried aromatic, spiced rice

Intentionally, all shots were captured wide open.

Looks yummy, you might want to bump the contrast a bit and get the white things more white. I take it the yellow color stuff is Saffron?

Thanks "Nextography", The yellow is a effect of turmeric powder. This is Pulao... or if you have been to any Indian/mid-western restaurant... you can think this as Vegetarian Biryani with Turmeric powder and less spicy).
Yes.. You are right... Need to play with whites.. I think WB is little off, as there were few Tungsten bulb switched On at that time.
