In the shower

In the shower by a.g.j.
Today I enjoyed one of the simple joys of life....showering ;)
...realised some interesting things....
well, if u close ur eyes and cover ur ears lightly with ur palms....and stand under the shower with water falling on ur head....you'll just hear ur heart beat/circulation sounds...and some mild water flowing sounds....there is a lot of relaxation and peace in that instant ;)
It actually feels so good that when u take ur palms off and the 'noise' of the water falling and all that comes back, you just miss the 'peace' so much...:D

aah, some simple pleasures....as long as the showers dont dry up ;)

@poombatta....no no....aadyamaayittu onnum alla ;)
camera-il vellom onnum poyilla....athinalle zooom :D

actually, i do quite frequently enjoy silence....the silence of sitting in a room with just the clack-clack sound of my typing and the occasional whirr whirr of the refrigerator doing its thing......
Or....the silence that comes with listening to sweet light music....and nothing else on the ears....
Or the time u are walking or just gazing out endlessly...with just nature sounds for company....
Hmmm...but this one is a different kind of silence...its not exactly dead silent..And, I think its those mild internal sounds that are soothing....those with a mild bassy feel....
And your palms behave like equalizers when u adjust em to get the 'right sounds of water falling' ;)

well, I actually thought about blogging about this (http://arungj.blogspot.com), then decided to write something else ;)

Speaking of silence, I watched 'Babel'...and found the patches of silence (to symbolize what a deaf-mute might be feeling like) awesome....

TS....if u are reading this...excuse my "raamayanam vaayichathinu shesham vajpayee aaranennu chodikkunna' model qns regarding babel ;)

Amelie likes to sink her hands into sacks of grain, its varied textures shaping themselves around her briefly drowning fingers.
