Flickr Gift #8: Polaroid SX-70, from Mad JeffProper manual focus is linked to the viewfinder. Electric eye and lighten/darken control. This was taken on the long discontinued TZ film. I'll be using integral 600 and a neutral density gel over the lens. There's a prism in here, as this is an SLR.
[Explored. Shot up to #46. Thanks for looking.]

Last week, mad jeff asked for my address as he said he wanted to post me something. I thought he was going to send me a postcard, so imagine my surprise when a postman with a huge jiffy bag turned up on my doorstep early on Saturday morning and I found this inside! I'm overwhelmed by Jeff's generosity. I was chasing SX-70s on fleabay for ages, but I have a strict rule of never spending more than a tenner as I'm so poor, so I never landed one. Now I've got one and I love it so much I'm almost too scared to use it! (I will put some film in it, but I doubt I'll capture anything as lovely as the Time Zero picture Jeff included). I have the greatest flickr friends ever. :) Please visit Jeff's stream and leave him some nice comments! The Polaroid SX-70 on Camerapedia. LARGE. CommentsBetty Zissou

Replete with the original box, the amazing folding design of the camera is revealed.

Fortunately the instructions were also sent, as I thought I was going to break the camera trying to open it up.
