Just missed him!I watched the FRONTLINE documentary about Bernie Madoff, the non-executive chairman of the NASDAQ stock exchange and the biggest Ponzi schemer of all time, the other night (Watch it Here). He was arrested on December 11, 2008 just days before my arrival to NYC this winter and worked his investor fraud out of the 17th floor of the Lipstick Building During my stay I was in a Hotel across the street from this building and at the time, like everyone else, had no idea what was going on just a few steps and elevator rides away. This has no real significance except that I found it profoundly interesting.This is the only picture I could find of the building which was taken out of the hotel window.
