Oh Roberta... this picture is so emotive...

The colors give the sensation of quite of the scene. The face as a bokeh is perfectly lightened and the rose is pure

We see flower shots on flickr. Some are outstanding in their own right...in the area of photography to which they are aimed. They have their audience.

However, most lack sophistication and any real depth to make them actually mean a whole lot. You embody sophistication...depth...and intelligence so its no surprise that a floral image by ArTeTeTrA is one of sheer unadulterated class.

You could have gone all out with the tones on the rose. RED...so red it would make our eyes water. Nope. you dont do that. Less is ALWAYS more. You deliver beauty in the most subtle of ways...and believe me...thats the best way to appreciate and have it linger.

The toning on the girl is impressive. The whole image is magical. I could go on to write what I imagine her thoughts to be...but no...lets keep it simple....pure...and just beautiful.

Beautifull, love the title (très bon titre ! ;-) ), but it's a bit sad though. Those tones make me think of an old, nostalgic time, that has gone, and will never come back. She's not dreaming in front of a beautifull flower. It's a dying rose... Rêverie, but melancolic rêverie... Strong one.

Sorry .....!!!! Its a really beautiful image full of freshness, I love the sharpness of the rose and the softness of her - it's showing us the object of her thoughts... beautiful tones as always too. Who are all these children?? Sisters, nieces? Or just little friends???
