Through the viewfinder is a technique that takes 2 camera's to produce ONE image.

The camera's are joined via a long black tube - to keep out unwanted light. the top camera is then used to take a photo thru the viewfinder of the bottom camera, often a twin lens reflex- (they have nice big view finders).

The results are varied but usually end up some what gritty with soft vignetting.
