When I visited the Getty Villa two years ago
(at least I think it was two years ago) I
walked away with the impression that it was a
poorly done rich man's Disneyland. I thought
some of the studio lots at Universal were
more convincing...

Hmm, I don't think we did. I have eaten at
the Getty, though (not the really nice
restaurant, just the cafeteria). I don't
remember where we ate that day. (So, it
probably wasn't at the restaurant; I would
hope I would remember a sensational meal.)
