Cops Busting Art Nerds

It was opening night for a bunch of art galleries in Chelsea and the cops were busting high brow art types for open container violations.

Seems in the US you guys get treated like children - what, an adult with an open container? Why not? Jay walking is another US law I find insulting. Why not cross where you want, at your own risk? I thought it was a free country.
