Jean Chan's Store
This is Jean Chan's store in downtown Uturoa on the island of Raiatea. I found it amazing while downtown watching the tourists walk by this store not knowing that the heart of Tahitian vanilla was only a few feet away. It is from this tiny store that the majority of Tahiti's vanilla leaves for foreign destinations later to be found in the pantry's of the world's best chefs.
