Ruby-Throated Hummingbird

I found that the built-in flash on my D300 will not sync fast enough to stop the hummer's wings. Oh well. This still came out nice.

To take full advantage of Flickr, you should use a JavaScript-enabled browser and
install the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player.

Yeah, I took some shots where I could stop their wings (at around 1/1250), but they came out dark and noisy. The birds light up nicely with the flash, although the fastest the flash could get is 1/320. I've got an SB-800 on the way from amazon. I'm looking forward to that!
