Lucky me !
Throwing coins in the water is a tradition to make a wish.This tradition goes back to ancient Greece. As far as I know, It had been an offering to the Naiad nymph of the spring or well. The god of merchants, Hermes, also had luck oracles where people would toss a coin into the sacred spring.
