Sieht sehr futuristisch aus. Obwohl es mit Sicherheit älter ist. Also perpsektivischer scheint es kaum zu gehen. Geil!

Thanks Mr Prudence, The London Tube is just a huge collection of great geometrical motifs, I couldn' help ;)

Stockholm kam dann zwecks Diplom eher dazwischen ;)

I know where I've seen this tunnel before... Luke Skywalker slid through here just before getting dropped out the bottom of Cloud City. No? did you go to Cloud City to take this shot?

    sehr schöne tube.

  19. guenter73 (67 months ago | reply)

Fast so schön wie die Bochumer Ubahn :-)

  20. arndalarm (67 months ago | reply)

Thank ya all! I took this snapshot when passing by this tunnel - I just could not resist.
The headless person is a really neat detail indeed. I first noticed it when I checked the photos on the PC and didn't like it but then it turned out to be a very nice addition to the geomteric environment.
Cloud City isn't exactly where I went to, I think it was rather CCTV-City ;)
And yes, they have really great tiles in some stations there, almost as fine as those in the Bochum subway... :)

Very nice framing here, the shapes of the tunnel and lines on the walls are really interesting and the sheen of the tiles looks pretty cool.

  37. stüssy (63 months ago | reply)

    very cool!

A very austere shot. I've recently set up a group for London Underground Tile Patterns - it would be great to see this and any other similar photographs there. Thanks in advance!

A great shot, the composition and framing are, for me, spot on.

Incredible, exactly same place, same shot...

    London underground

  43. arndalarm (53 months ago | reply)

Haha, that's great! I stepped a little bit further otherwise the framing is totally the same! If there wasn't the headless person in my shot and a little difference in colour the photos would be almost identically - great eye! ;)
    Thanks for showing this coincidence.

    underground tunnel

    same place, quite same shot.

  45. arndalarm (50 months ago | reply)

Great shot and great effect with that cross processing. You're two steps further with that perspective.
It's interesting to see how many people from different place take similar pictures. Maybe the authorities will place a sign in the adjacent tunnel sying "photo opportunity to the right / left" ;)
