This is the interior view of Herz-Jesu-Church in Munich by day.
In the background you can see the altar The wall behinid it is made of steel mesh and includes the crucifix if you watch carefully.
The walls are open wooden lamellae and the wohle room is housed by a larger steel-glass building which creates very nice collonades around the interior room.
I love this church since the moment I entered it. It is the most beautiful interior space of a modern church I have seen myself so far. The Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtnis-Kirche in Berlin by Egon Eiermann is second now :)
