Through a partnership, the Arizona Army National Guard acquired a solar air conditioning system valued at $1.5 million. The partner, Salt River Project, supplied 99 percent of the cost as a test project; the AZARNG was only responsible for costs associated with installation labor and monitoring. The chiller supplies cooling to this facility at no cost to the AZARNG.
