    I like the variety of textures here - rougher sea, rocks (echoing wave movement), still pool, seaweed .. Fun title, focusing on the higher bird .. pity his head is against a darker patch of background. I like the overall composition, but a cropped version would be interesting, possibly not as tight as Olver suggests - the 'back' bird adds to a certain balance which would be lost in a tighter crop.
