Brownie

Picked this up at a Antique shop a few weeks ago. It's a Kodak Brownie Hawkeye, which was introduced in 1949. It's a fun little camera. Very simplistic, much like a Holga. No batteries needed. It has a shutter button (shoots around 1/30 to 1/60 of a second) and it has a switch like the Holga for bulb setting which will allow you to do long exposures.

It takes 620 film, which is basically 120 film on a 620 spool. Some people will respool 120 film onto a 620 spool (has to be done in a pitch black room or dark room bag). Instead I was able to fit my 120 film into the film holder. The takeup spool has to be a 620 spool though. So after I finish a roll, I will spool the roll of film from the 620 spool back onto a 120 spool before sending it to the lab. I don't trust my lab to return my 620 spool, which are quite expensive these days.

Will post some test shots later from my first roll.
