Firefight

Inspired by Japanese animation, this avant-grade production paints a vibrant musical landscape, featuring bizarre characters, animated movements and an exhilarating fire twirling performance.

‘Heroes of the La-La Land’ was an amazing pyro performance - a part of the month long Singapore Arts Festival. The scene here is part of the grand finale when all the characters came together to fight and performed a perfectly choreographed ending to this great show.

This is also a handheld one second exposure. I am so glad I didn't have a flash or a tripod - I would have completely missed this shot and the previous one too.

I think you have grat images for f/lux :: sensibili alla luce, our Italian speaking group about "the light". Rules are: light as subject, absolute quality, no photoshop for artificial lighting.

This poi shot has it all. The trace, and flames in the same shot.

And the long, whip-like poi, too. A silhouette in front of the fiery band. Little or no white over-exposed flames. Maybe I could do without the green emergency exit sign, but I'm not sure.
