My dog Sassafras (aka The D)

In April 2007 after a year of debating big dog vs. small dog, Andreas and I adopted a two year old Boston Terrier/Chihuahua mix -- I call her a "bosthuahua." She came with the name Sassy, which we decided was short for Sassafras D. (D for Dog)

I found her on petfinder.com, where she had been listed by a rescue group in Eastern Washington. I don't know much about her past life other than that her former owner had 3 dogs and didn't have time for Miss Sassy.
