i'm glad this is tagged "happy story" and not just "lost dog" or i would have been hesitant to read the story. i'm so glad you did the right thing! i've been in this position before, one time trying to get other people to help me round up the stray puppy and they would give it a half minute before they said "sorry, i have to get to work" leaving me to try to chase down the little guy on my own. yay you! yay pee kay!

It makes me almost emotional to know that there are people in the world who will spend that much time chasing down a lost and obviously a little shy or skittish dog to return him home! I have nightmares about Nano never being trusting enough of humans to be rescued - go Ariel!
