About two weeks, start to almost-finished. I should clarify that I didn't do any manual labor on the project — my role was as financier. Dre had LOTS of help from others, however — Tere (a prof contractor) put in about 25 hours of work building the deck and door frame, and Dre and his brother were working on it all last weekend.

Total cost will be about $2500 (a steal) thanks to the doors themselves being used and free from Tere. It's one of those projects where I felt like I was watching the house's value increase with every hour of work that went into it. It dramatically changes the house to have doors that open out onto the back yard.
