- People - here in flickr at in "real life" - have asked how I captured this.
The snowflake landed on top of my car, I got in real close and zoomed as much as I could and still keep some focus.
I'm just so pleased that so many people like this. :)
Thanks for visiting!
Cold
We got a few inches today. I brushed my car off ... and it kept coming down.

WOW you have a GOOD camera! this is BEAUTIFUL! it's a wonderful reminder to me of how intricately God created us, and if He put so much effort into creating such a beautiful snowflake, how much more does He care about us!

The artistry in you reflects the artistry of the ONE who made both you
and the snowflake you found with your camera

Thank you all so much for your visit, interest and kind words. It's a bit ironic, maybe, when I think how close this was to not being - I was in a hurry and it was COLD!
It goes to show you (or at least me) how much flickr and photography in general has taken a hold of my life. So many times I see something that catches my eye and I just have to stop and try to capture it.

I concur with all the wows! This is a primo shot! how could you stay still in the cold to get such a great shot!
I agree it is weird how I will setup shots for many minutes, those won't turn out, but the one where I just pulled camera out, clicked, look great.

AGK, I'm with you. I have never been able to see one long enough or I guess close enough to see this precision and know that they really look like this. I lived in the snow half my life and never did I see this. If this is truly real, this is definitely a breath taking picture and I applaud you for taking the time to take the picture and for freezing your little buns off just so we could view it. Thanks to you!
