You just inferred knowledge that the
electoral college elects the president, not
the people, so saying Al Gore won makes you
one of the following:

A liar.
An idiot.
So caught up in your wishful thinking that

I'm none of the above.
Look, this is informal discourse, not a
debating society or for publication (where
I'd have an editor to suggest better, more
precise language).
I could write a long, reasoned argument
about the 2000 election, but it woulldn't
matter.
But Gore certainly isn't a moron though he
has done moronic things (like pick Lieberman
as his running mate), but he is smart. And
he has
changed for the better since 2000 which is
rare in a politician.
Just see the damn movie (which is not
boring) when you get a chance and see if it
might change your opinion,
