April 2010. The blackened tree trunks were evidence of the horrific fires that gutted the forest a year before. And yet in that time, life was returning.

DP1 - The Lady of Shalott Returns

April 2010. The bushfires had completely destroyed the Lady of Shalott sculpture in Bruno's Sculpture Garden. But along with many others, it had been rebuilt in the following year. I was amazed at how positive and calm Bruno was in the face of this, and how he readily acknowledged the damage that had been done.
