Still up to my eyes with all things Kings Weston of late. At least spending so much time on the estate means that I have a chance to reflect on the venerable mansion and see it in new ways an from new perspectives. Appropriately enough for the period of the house the Queen Anne's Lace created an attractive foreground.

Arno nights

Evening flows relentlessly onward like the waters of the Arno. I took a whole heap of shots trying to get the exposure and reflections right, but annoyingly it was so dark that the focus was very difficult to get right. This was the one that came out the best. Composition could have included more of the sky methinks, but the width is about right

Not architecture parlant in the strictest sense, but it is undeniable that this building, Palazzo Pitti, vocalises the strength and power of the Medici with every stone.

The texture and the leading curve appealed to me
