Located just west of Cap-Chat, the Éole Cap-Chat site is the first and largest windmill park in Canada and one of the most important ones in America. You will be immediately astounded at the sight of the 76 windmills of the park blending perfectly inside the spectacular panorama of this Gaspésie area.
This is the home of the highest vertical-axis wind turbine in the world. It is nearly 100m in height, 60m in diameter and can generate 4MegaWatts of power.
