68/365: Bad Mommy Morning

This morning I took Zach in to the hospital for same day surgery to get some caps put on his teeth because of cavities. I hate feeling like I didn't do enough or that this is a lesson at cost to him when it could have been prevented by me being more careful and active in the teeth brushing routine. Aric had to do the same thing a few weeks ago. Just makes me feel like crap, but you know, lesson learned for all of us.

Behold the birth of the tooth brushing nazi.

Now who needs their teeth brushed?

Try not to feel bad but who am I to give advice? I'm the Queen of mommy guilt! I do know a lot more than good hygiene goes into weather or not a person gets cavities so chances are, there's not much more you could have done other than rewire their DNA!

It's actually a nutrition thing... and as a parent, I totally hear what you're going through. I obsess about it all the time.
