As predicted, my foggy landscape addiction continues.
A bit of a story to this one. Mel had a day off and I mentioned to her about this planned idea of mine. Keen for someone to come along to suss this place out, we agreed to meet just before the turnoff to the lake.
I headed down the road towards the lake and missed the turn off, which was only about 1.5ks from the highway. My phone was dying and the reception was terrible. Oh by chance we passed each other and then headed back to find the road. Lost again and me with only a few litres of fuel left, we headed back to the fuel station. There we checked a map, found the road, found a way in and got in just as these colours were unfolding.
An amazing place to visit, fog was rolling over the water and trees, and through the mountains.
A little bit of work on this one, but not much. A quick crop to straighten the horizon. Matt's Grad Filter to pop out the sky nicely. Punch Preset in LR2, followed by some curves and Camera Calibration set to Landscape. Into PS for some soft light. Some Brightness in LR2 and a little negative Clarity to counter some over zealous amounts. And Sharpen Landscapes preset in LR2.
