Heart of Fire

A close up of one of the huge blooms on my Benfica amaryllis - the colour has proved really difficult to capture effectively but I think this is a reasonably good result.

I'm hoping that these amaryllis will grow and thrive now they've finished flowering because I want to have another crack at photographing them next year ... hopefully with a better camera! ;-)
