"UppaYucca!"

"UppaYucca!" by Aqua-Marina.
You have to get close to appreciate the waxy white bells of the stately yucca. We have two large clumps in our garden and each has produced ten spikes of bloom this autumn - an astonishingly prolific show. (even Tresco Abbey Garden might be hard-pushed to match that display ...) Since I can get up close and underneath the plants which grow on a raised bed, I was able to take this unusual shot against an astonishingly blue sky. I did suffer a couple of minor injuries from the evil sharp points on the leaves though...
