Tashi looks like such a great dog. That look
in her eye and the ball reminds me of my late
dog, Darby, who was also part Australian
Shepherd.

Great use of depth of field, Layne.
I'm thinking I won't pick up that ball
until I become friends with Tashi!

~ Darby and you, yes, your Darby was a
beauty! Tashi is definitely a great dog.
Thanks!. :)
~ Thanks, Scott! :)
~ Christiane, she's pretty grown up, yes,
and quite the model. Thanks! :)
~ Mozart and you, ha ha, yes, they do get
big. She's 58 pounds now, and yes, still cute
as can be. Thanks!
~ Chris, thanks so much. She melts our
hearts. All is very well - and I hope all is
well with you too. :)
~ aylin, she is definitely a big girl!
Although when we take her to the dog park she
seems surprisingly small compared to some of
the truly big dogs there. Thanks!
~ Maggie, thank you. Oh she never has to
wait to long to play with one of us. And she
plays a great game of soccer with herself. :)
~ Crystal, thanks, it's always nice to
luckily get a good portrait of the sweet
doggie. :)
~ Thank you, Richard, I was using my
portrait lens - love it. I've been using it
for almost everything lately. Regarding the
ball - she's not possessive - you can take
the ball from her, she won't mind. In fact,
she likes it because it usually means she's
going to get to play with someone! When did
you say you were coming over? :)
~ Bodie, thanks. Tashi and the rug kind of
go together. :)

One of her many balls.... :) She shares them
with humans - she's a very playful girl. :)
Thanks, K!

Those eyes remind me so much of my friend's
Border Collie-Australian Shepherd mix. Heidi
was relentless when it came to playing, and
would try to herd kids riding down the street
on their bikes.

She looks like such a happy dog. I like how
the paws fingers are slightly outstretched,
and there is a playful yet quiet look to the
eyes. A wonderful rescue.

~ Marc, yes, love those herding dogs! Tashi,
being half Lab, is also a retriever ... and
she's extremely friendly and a real water
lover. :)
~ Lara, Tashi says thank you so much! xox
~ Stephen, she is a very happy girl ... and
yes, has very expressive eyes. We are so
lucky to have her! Thanks! :)

I came across your photos - thanks so much
for posting them. I have two aussie/lab
puppies (5 mo currently) and am trying to see
what they will look like full grown. I love
your photos, I need to take more of mine. I
have lots of photos, but just in fits and
starts when I have time. With two of them we
are constantly busy. One of our girls is the
blue merle color, the other looks like a
yellow lab. This mix of breeds seems to make
beautiful dogs. Your Tashi has wonderful
coloring!
