egg & spoon

    Newer Older

SB800 behind frosted perspex to left, with gobo to limit vertical extent of light. Large white card above spoon with SB600 firing directly up into it.

Setup shot linked in comments below.

Spent ages trying to work out how to get all the eggs to stand up without an egg box being visible then I had an "aha!" moment and filled a baking dish with sand.

Update March 2009: this photo has now been included in the Strobist Favorites Gallery Vol. 1 (http://tradesecretcards.com/) project. I'm really honoured to have had my image selected for this!
