applauding the teachers now-a-days, who have our children get up and do things like this in front of the class, so they aren't too freaked out when they are older to speak in front of people!! My son reading to his first grade class. . . he is counting the days, and is so excited!!!

isn't that the truth? it builds self confidence and self pride and those things trickle down into to every other thing our kids do. i think it helps make our kids more successful down the road.
