The past
The past is gone, but its traces are in your eyes, in the way you walk, and even in your smile. You carry its lessons on your back, you carry the hope of re-living some of its memories, not realizing that as you look back, you carry today on your back for tomorrow.

It was just a window
... but a window into a different world. Not like a dream, it was real. She could see it and taste it. She was able to live up to her potential. But her heart wasn't there. And everyday she stepped into that world, she left her heart behind in her familiar world, that really did not know anything about her except her heart.
