      The only time I ever saw one of my feline owners jump up on a table or counter was one day when I'd just made breakfast and put a plate of bacon on the table. Calixta jumped up, picked up a strip of bacon, hopped down, and ate it up.

      She did her pilfering so neatly and delicately, we couldn't help ROFLing, and the bacon didn't seem to hurt her any.

      BTW, I presume these porkers haven't heard the song:

      "Everywhere there's lots of piggies, leading piggy lives;
      You will see them out to dinner with their piggy wives,
      Clutching forks and knives
      To eat the bacon...."
