Mormon Guys

Mormon Guys by Aoife city womanchile.
Fall in Washington Heights always means Mormon guys from Utah, running around trying to convert the masses. The church has gotten smarter, and started sending Latino members, and those who speak fluent Spanish.
However, you gots to let those white boys from Utah proselytize. These guys were nice. We mainly talked about the neighborhood, and my experiences seeing nervous white boys trying to talk to people about Joseph Smith.
I wish I had found out more about them. The neighborhood freaks them out a bit, but they will take their stories back to Utah, where they will share them with future childrens.
They didn't even try to preach at me, which I really appreciated. I told them that I had gotten a book of Mormon in Ohijo, because I was curious. The blonde Elder gave me some "homework", that involved looking up a passage in the book of Ether.
The book of ETHER. That is some funky, funky stuff. He told me to call if I wanted them to come over and tell me more. I'm glad we all just left it at that, and I felt that was a non-annoying way to sneak in some conversion tactics.
Good luck Mormon guys from Utah!
