this is not from our garden cherry tree. the bird has eaten cherries before we harvest them from our cherry tree. we lost the birds.
but my uncle sends japanese beautiful cherries every year. we got it this year, too.
and these white plates COMMO are new my favorite pottery plates by hakusan porcelain co.,ltd.

from my garden

my birthday is June 3rd. and my apricot tree in my garden bore only one apricot this year.
i hope this is a sign of the coming of happiness for my life.

we gathered for the celebration of her first birthday.
we made her wear the waraji (japanese traditional straw sandals) and step on rice cake.
it's called mochifumi. when we do mochifumi, we hope the strengthen her body and her life will receive enough food.
happy birthday my niece. i'm so happy aunt! :)

it's not a frog. but so pretty!!! :)
my sister presented our mom it. it's a mobile phone lanyard charm.
but she can't use it because it's so beautiful white.
