Voices Rising book party

After 10 years in the making, RedBone Press has published the third book/journal of the Other Countries writing workshop titled Voices Rising and we celebrated in Fort Greene. Even with winds howling at 19 degrees, it was worth bundling up for the trek from Harlem to Brooklyn!

I haven't labeled any of these photos, so please: if a photo includes you or if you know someone in a photo, include your name and/or their names and say a little something about that particular moment. There was an energy in the room that was undeniable; I KNOW I'm not the only one who felt it! And if you haven't already (and can afford it), buy the book!
