Best Boy

This photo looks battered because he took it with him to camp. In August, long after he had returned home, I got a call from camp. Eric had been named Best Boy Camper. Not just for his two-week session, but for the whole summer. Apparently, the choice was unanimous among the counselors. We drove five hours back to Virginia for the ceremony.

Happy 21st Birthday, Son.
