I left home at 11pm to get to Northumberland from Dorset in time for
sunrise the next day and give myself a sunrise session before meeting
all the clients for the weekends wokshop. After driving through a
storm all night aquaplaning all over the roads and dodging trucks on
their sides due to the severe wind I arrived at Bamburgh and noticed
this cloud rolling over and just beginning to glow with the first rays
of the morning sun.
As this cloud rolled over the top of this famous castle the colour just exploded, it made all that travelling completely worthwhile, its an amazing experience to witness light like this after putting so much in to get there...
