This is one of the only videos I've seen yet that actually falls into Flickr's intent of a "long photograph". Perfect length too, it says all it needs to in less than 30 seconds. I think thats what they should have made the time limit.

Wonderful job, this will stand head and shoulders above the rest of the video content I expect to see. I was just listening to that album last night.

personally, i don't see the youtube community as an artful community.
nor do i see flickr video as a competitor to youtube.

i can completely understand the fear that people will try to upload skateboarding videos and pirated content and people will start adding Z's to their LOLzZZz... nobody wants that to happen to Flickr.

But rarely do i find people willing to pollute their photostreams on Flickr. Maybe it's naive, but i believe in the community.

Plus the 90 second "long photo" idea is a smart limitation.

Despite what all the video-haters are out to say, I think this is exactly what Flickr Video is for. You can shoot "still" photos of something, only do it at 25/30 fps and add other elements of beauty and artistry.
