salt
i'll admit this is one of a group of photos i took during the two or so hour visit to the flats. the salt was a canvas to whatever happened to be strewn on top or pressed in and protruding from it, and so it was relatively natural to capture something + salt.

from the pass
went for a drive in the sierras, heading south from tahoe. it snowed a foot and a half over night, closing the roads back north. the next few photos are from the resulting 10 hour drive to get back to san francisco.
