The is an attempt to show just how tightly packed the PSU and motherboard are. The PSU intake fan is about 0.5" directly above the main motherboard heatsink. Although the motherboard hardly requires the extra cooling, it certainly isn't hurting.

The Corsair 400W PSU comes with 6 SATA power plugs along two cords (3 on each). Rather than getting too fancy with PSU cord mods I just braided the two together to get the the rough spacing I needed then folded them to get everything to line up.
