Yep! I think it's one of the coolest nibs out
there. So many just have a name and some
curlicue ornament on them, but I don't know
of any others with a bug, let alone a
cockroach.

My thoughts exactly. If one pen hits the spot
right on, it's the Kafka. At first I was a
bit surprised by the daring and unusual
design, but it's a writer's dream come true,
this pen.

Blunder, I agree. I've got it with me right
now. I've been using it pretty regularly. It
had to go to John Mottishaw before I was
happy with the nib, but after that I was
hooked. It balances well in the hand, writes
wonderfully, and its contemporary design is
so refreshing.
