New Project: the Art of Geometry
I'm working on a few projects Or, at the moment, under a kind of disciplina arcana: a veil of secrecy, or silence. Part of my process of growing as a designer and as an artist, has been to publish photographs of my work. I'm not used to working under a structure of silence. But in part, I am working on a project that involves using copyrighted material. It's not my place to publish that material. I'm photographing it will let the cat out of the bag.
As a result I have started a slightly different project, which can be photographed as I go along. The design constraints are similar, and that the court notebook which is the base material of project, is the same size for both projects and the same number of pages. As a result, some of the work is similar.
So has is it proved. I got the right amount of rush, and encouragement, from the first little bit of effort, photographed at present. That small amount of effort must translate into a desire to move the project along. It also has encouraged to continue to work on my other, more private, project.
