The original was in a relatively flat light, taken at a window ledge.
Cropping helped to remove some extra negative space and make the right hand side more lively.

I used the "recipe" system in Digital Photo Professional to enhance an egg shaped glow that reflected from an overhead tungsten light onto the green wall. The "Bokeh" effect was not very evident in the original, but became very bright with some filter work. It is possible to make it very "day-glow-ish" but I didn't want to overdo it.
