the Pinnacles

my co-worker chris and i, set out for a trip to the pinnacles national monument.

we found lots of wildlife in the camping grounds & trails.
it turned out to be quite a rocky trip ;-)

the hikes involved included the balconies cave - 2 mile loop through some very fun (and cool!) caves.

a 10+ mile hike gaining over 1400 feet in elevation up through the bear gulch caves, the bear gulch reservoir, around the reservoir (in which half *did not* have trails), the high peaks trail and condor gulch trail.

wow!

some of these pix came out way to over exxxxxposed and not only do i -in general- not like to alter the original pic (including crop) i'm lazy.
