time to pray...

    Today was our first full day in Istanbul and the sounds of the calls to prayer were echoing through the streets. I love the sound called out by the muezzin from a minaret of a mosque five times a day summoning Muslims for salah (prayers) ....

    We also visited the The Sultan Ahmed Mosque or Blue Mosque and I saw this fellow praying by the window and quietly captured it with my zoom....I watched him pray for quite sometime...
