Dunkeld on a frosty morning

Dunkeld on a frosty morning by annemirtschin.
This photo was taken outside my hotel room near Dunkeld, Garriwerd (or the Grampians) in the Western District of Victoria, Australia. Heavy frost lay on the ground and Mt Sturgeon is in the background. Our wonderful Australian bush is featured. The Grampians is a beautiful, yet majestic national park and is a very popular tourist attraction. Dunkeld is the southern gateway to the Grampians.

What a lovely landscape. It is so different from what I see, it fascinates me.

The photo draws me in. I want to get closer to it so that I can see more details. It that a water source or just frost behind and below the closer trees?

@dirtdevil It is frost beyond the trees. Despite the coldness and crsipness of the early morning, the beauty of the surroundings made me forget how cold it really was.
